Is “PS I Love You” a Romantic Gesture?
PS I love you! Hardly the most romantic way to write a love letter to your special person. But it is probably as far as some people go!
Gerald Swank and Gerard Butler star in the new movie PS I Love You which suggest a number of different ways that you can express your love and it just shows that love letters don’t need to be written on paper either! Have you ever thought of making a celebration cake and sending it with a message on a tape recorder?
Think about how many love letters carefully written on parchment with pen and ink still exist today many centuries later. That love letter was treasured by the recipient (and people today are still hanging on those written letters as keepsakes sometimes long after the loving relationship has gone). If you have visited my website LoveLettersCentral.com you will see love letters written by just some of the people who spent hours writing long and romantic expressions of love in letters with a very basic pen dipped in a bottle of ink. Nowadays it is often just pressing a few keys on the computer or mobile cell phone. Although we do encourage our people to write their letters of love using pen and paper if possible as they tend to mean more to the recipient.
Are you doing something spectacular to show your loved one that you want them? Or is writing that simple phrase PS I Love You as an afterthought at the end of a letter or love note enough for you? Would you like to know how to make the most of your romantic thoughts to really impress your loved one and know they will treasure it?
You will find 125 romantic love letters on the LoveLettersCentral.com which can used by yourself to write or compose a romantic note. Each one of the love letters can be adapted to suit your circumstances just change a few words as appropriate.
Did you know that one of my readers took a love letter straight off the site rewrote parts of it to include the color of her boyfriend’s eyes, his warm cuddly and muscular arms etc and then wrote it out with one sentence on each of 10 sheets of paper. She then put them into separate envelopes with dates on them and handed them to her husband just as he was about to leave on a 10 day business trip with instructions to open each envelope only on the day marked on the outside. You can guess how much pleasure her husband had in getting that love letter each day and piecing it all together just before travelling back home to her.
What would he have been thinking about his wife who went out of her way to say she loved him in that series of very short love letters?
