What is Love?
The first ever world love survey is online. You can see it here . Once there, you can answer the question “What is love?”
The site got me thinking about an answer to that question. I am going to restrict the defenition of love to that is felt between humans. So love for food or pets or any other “thing” is excluded. So talking about love, there is love for your partner (husband/wife), love for your parents, siblings, children, friends. What is the one thing that is common to the love one feels for all of those people (and others). I believe that, at a basic level, love is a wish and an action. When you love someone, you wish for them all the happiness in the world. That is the wish part. The action is you doing whatever you can to make the wish come true.
